Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Cold Spring, Minnesota. This Contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to key financial operations and gain valuable experience. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate records, ensuring daily reconciliations, and supporting the accounting department's overall efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile production data between shop floor systems and internal platforms.

• Balance daily inventories and finished product reports to ensure accurate records.

• Investigate and resolve production errors, closing daily production transactions efficiently.

• Verify and reconcile sales figures and internal product transfers.

• Assist the production accountant in compiling weekly production data.

• Input and validate daily production numbers to ensure accuracy before posting.

• Cross-train with other clerks to provide departmental coverage as needed.

• Collaborate closely with the Live Accounting team to support operational goals.

• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the accounting department. Requirements • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of clerical accounting experience is preferred.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.

• Ability to analyze and verify financial documents and reports.

• Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and performing data analyses.

• Familiarity with SAP or comparable systems, as well as Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, auditing practices, and modern office methods.

• Capability to perform all job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
