    Responsibilities:

    • Follows system-wide standards and fulfills assigned duties.

    • Trains staff and student technologists.

    • Operates specialized equipment (e.g., O.R., fluoro) and performs EKGs/lab draws as needed.

    • Works independently, including off-shifts, on-call, and satellite coverage; communicates with leads and management.

    • Monitors quality control and delivers patient care using current imaging protocols.

    • Supports system-wide standardization initiatives.

    • Performs core duties of a Diagnostic Tech I.

    • Assists with QA, regulatory testing, and research efforts.

    • Collaborates with Radiologists on imaging protocols.

    + Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.

    + 2 years Diagnostic experience required.

    + Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.

    License and Certification:

    ARRT Certificate

     

    Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    License and Cert Notes:

    ARRT certified in Radiography. CPR or BLS Required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.

     

    + ARRT Certificate

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    + Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal

    + Act 33 with renewal

    + Act 34 with renewal

    + Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
