    Marketing Brand Manager

     

    Purpose and Scope/General Summary: JBS is looking for a passionate and determined Marketing Brand Manager, reporting to the Director or Marketing. The Marketing Brand Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the marketing organization with business-to-business marketing initiatives, tactics and collaboration to support multiple brand/program strategies and business goals.

    Responsibilities:

    + Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies and plans

    + Develop and maintain brand standards and style guides

    + Assist in the creation of sales materials (sale sheets, customer decks, company presentations, flyers, etc.) centered on fact-based selling strategies and program attributes

    + Manage development, requests, inventories and shipments of branded promotional items, point-of-sale materials, etc.

    + Assist in the development and execution of customer marketing promotion and incentive programs

    + Provide creative input and execute packaging projects. (labels, pre-printed bags, boxes, etc.)

    + Maintain consumer affairs website, email, phone correspondence and coupon programs

    + Manage daily communications and activities with agencies

    + Support the business unit internet and e-commerce presence through providing relevant and meaningful content and attributes

    + Collaborate with Sales and R&D to develop new products and platforms

    + Support sales and customer collaboration though general requests, special projects, and customer visits

    + Assist in training the sales force on new products, marketing programs and industry issues.

    + Assist in the planning and execution of internal and external events (trade shows, customer events, internal company activities)

    + Process marketing invoices, track spending and help implement the marketing budget

    + 10-15% travel annually

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or related field

    + 2 years of experience in marketing or related field

    + Experience in agency relations and management

    + Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

    + Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)

    + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously

    + Creative and innovative problem-solving skills

    + Creative mindset/thought provoker

    + Excellent interpersonal skills

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    + Excellent planning and time management skills

    + Innate attention to detail

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

    + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

    The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

    + Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

    + Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

    + 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

    + Base salary range of $85,000 - $100,000;

    + Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
