Job Title: SMT Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating and setting up SMT machines, specifically MyData/Mycronic/MyCenter. This role requires a technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and set up SMT machines, including MyData/Mycronic/MyCenter.
+ Conduct machine setup and tear down activities.
+ Support the lead SMT Operator in daily tasks.
+ Inspect machine-placed components for accuracy.
+ Examine solder paste print quality.
+ Read and follow written instructions and interpret diagrams.
+ Critically think and troubleshoot issues as they occur.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2 years’ experience running an SMT Machine.
+ Technical aptitude demonstrated through hobbies or work experience.
+ Ability to read, speak, and understand English for clear communication.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and 10-key operations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ IPC Certification is a plus.
+ One year of stock room and inventory experience.
+ Cycle counting and inventory control skills.
+ Customer service skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
