Description

Responsible for operating a variety of proprietary machines to manufacture powder and paste additives for animals, humans, and ag products

Follow production work order specifications and process job orders

Process work orders to assemble ingredients and fabricate finished product

Make adjustments to equipment and minor repairs as needed

Use general mechanical and electrical knowledge to operate and maintain equipment

Inspect and measure products to verify quality and specifications met

Assist in inspecting materials prior to being used

Assist in ingredient, packaging, and finished goods inventory

Compute amount of ingredients and supplies required for operations based on production schedules

Document time, ingredients, and processes accurately

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must have valid drivers license

6+ months experience within food production/manufacturing environment

6+ months experience using mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. (I.E. Tinker with their cars, troubleshoot electronics, help out with wiring homes, etc)

Ability to read and interpret documents and safety instructions in English

Must be able to do basic algebra: divide and multiple whole numbers, fractions, percentages.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
