Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for providing direct service and support to the users for a wide variety of medical devices and peripherals within the BayCare system.
+ Work extensively with the incident management system and is responsible for fulfilling end user requests and resolving issues on medical devices in accordance with established SLAs and CES procedural standards.
+ Typical responsibilities involve Preventive Maintenance (PMs), calibration/maintenance of medical devices, and responding to break/fix service requests.
+ Ensure that all the components necessary to support the medical device are in place and functional, such as power/surge protections, computer equipment, cabling, etc.
+ Responsible for moving and configuring setup of relocated medical devices.
+ Deploy or work with Information Services to refresh computers, transfer data, and move software from old system to new.
+ Decommissioning and proper disposal of End of Life (EOL) medical devices.
+ Provide local assistance to other areas during down times to help troubleshoot issues.
+ Support various CES Field Service teams and IS Resolver groups (ex. FS Project Team, IS Field Services, and other IS Resolver groups not located locally).
+ Provide assistance with Vendors to install Vendor Hardware and Software.
+ Required to participate in CES related projects as directed and to assist with technology refresh, inventory management, system imaging/staging, and medical device distribution.
+ Have a working knowledge of regulations, rules, and policies pertaining to medical equipment and ensures these standards are followed by outside vendors as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Required - 1 year - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program.
+ Required - Technical - Biomedical; Or - Technical - Electronics; Preferred - Associates - Related Field
