Job Description

General Purpose

Lead a team while ensuring production of a quality product and complete all assigned tasks. Operate equipment and perform minor maintenance repairs.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

+ Coordinate the activities and resources of daily production including work assignments, training, break, and vacation relief for production operations positions

+ Understand each step of product flow for assigned area and aid in training new and current employees

+ Help perform all duties of an operator (e.g., maintain records, operate, shutdown, minor maintenance repairs, and clean all equipment) and ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP’s

+ Fill in for vacationing, sick, or otherwise vacant production positions

+ Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

+ The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required

Requirements

Education and Experience

+ High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and company computer systems

+ Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing

+ Able to perform task and duties without constant supervision
