Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) within BD's medical segment, aligning with BD's smart connected care approach. BD is one of the largest global medical technology companies in the world and is advancing the world of health by improving medical discovery, diagnostics and the delivery of care.

This role manages a defined portfolio of Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) customers, aiming to broaden patient reach and drive greater utilization of APM technologies across care settings.

Must reside within the Cleveland, Ohio area. This role does required 25% travel to Detroit, MI.

About the role:

This role drives business growth within new and existing accounts by identifying opportunities and closing deals, while also analyzing performance gaps and executing short-term regional strategies to meet sales targets. This role will be responsible for calling on anesthesiologists, cardiac surgeons, critical care medicine, cardiac surgeons and EP Lab.

Required Education and Experience

+ Bachelor's degree

+ At least 3 years of progressive sales experience or other relevant medical experience related to patient monitoring

+ Strong enterprise-level selling skills

+ Ability to travel up to 70%

+ Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license and meet BD's auto safety standards

What else we look for (Preferred):

+ Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders, including c-suite executives and administrative leadership

+ Anesthesia technicians highly preferred

+ Ability to navigate multi-layered decision-making structures within large hospitals and IDNs

+ Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to complex healthcare system

+ Good understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and/or cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to APM medical products as it relates to the business
