Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves creating and maintaining work standards for direct labor and machine cycle times to enhance manufacturing performance. The ideal candidate will perform time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis using predetermined time study techniques to maximize workflow and spatial utilization. Additionally, the engineer will participate in continuous improvement projects and cost reduction programs using lean manufacturing techniques.

Responsibilities

+ Create and maintain work standards for direct labor and machine cycle times.

+ Perform time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.

+ Conduct studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.

+ Create and maintain facility and process layouts using AutoCAD.

+ Plan layout of equipment, office, and production facilities for optimization.

+ Participate in continuous improvement projects and cost reduction programs.

+ Perform work sampling studies for indirect labor to optimize labor and processes.

+ Conduct capacity analysis and related studies for manufacturing planning.

+ Perform research, testing, data gathering, measurements, or engineering analysis.

+ Provide engineering support on complex projects under direction of an Industrial Engineering Manager.

+ Design tests or experiments to support project targets.

+ Compile data and analyze results for project or team review.

+ Ensure designs, testing, and analysis comply with TS and ISO procedures.

+ Ensure customer requirements are met.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of Industrial Engineering experience.

+ Experience with QAD (MRP System).

+ Proficiency in data analysis, cycle time studies, plant layouts, and capacity studies.

+ Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong knowledge in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing.

Work Environment

The work environment includes office, laboratory, or manufacturing settings where the engineer will conduct research, testing, and engineering analysis. Compliance with TS and ISO procedures is essential. The role requires a hands-on approach to optimize processes and minimize operational costs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of North Baltimore, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
