• Accounting Manager/Supervisor

    Description

    We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager/Supervisor to lead our financial operations in Aurora, Illinois. This role offers an opportunity to oversee key accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial standards, and contribute to the strategic planning of a growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, experience in process optimization, and a passion for driving operational excellence.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee full-cycle accounting processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities.

    • Prepare accurate financial statements and internal reports to support business decisions.

    • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting functions.

    • Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance with regulations.

    • Develop and maintain robust internal controls and accounting procedures.

    • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives.

    • Analyze cost structures and provide insights for pricing and margin optimization.

    • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational financial policies.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement financial system enhancements as needed.

     

    Salary-$100,000-$120,000

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

     

    • A minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

    • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance standards.

    • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

    • Hands-on experience with inventory and cost accounting is highly desirable.

    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

    • Experience in process improvement and system implementation is a plus.
