    Job Description

    An employer is seeking a Java Technical Lead for a large financial client sitting in Charlotte, NC. We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Java Technical Lead to guide our development team in building scalable, high-performance web applications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys mentoring developers, and has hands-on expertise in both Java and Angular. This person will be overseeing a new project where they are looking to digitize their existing client onboarding process to make it easier for clients to digitally submit their documents through CashPro.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Java applications

    • Architect and implement front-end solutions using Angular

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project scope

    • Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices

    • Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of continuous improvement

    • Drive agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack

    • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions

    Skills and Requirements

    • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a Technical Lead role

    • Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs) and Angular (other front-end tools are acceptable)

    • Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript

    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

    • Excellent communication and leadership skills

    • Proven ability to manage and deliver complex projects on time
