    The role you'll contribute:

    The Senior Quality Manager of the Cost and Quality Initiative (CQI) Team is responsible for managing the CQI.

     

    An interdisciplinary team, the CQI consists of a Pharmacy Manager, a Senior Health Plan Nurse, a Performance Improvement Specialist and a Clinical Data Analyst.

     

    The team is specifically focused on cost initiatives to drive larger margins and greater profitability across all value-based arrangements. It is an important augmentation to a well define approach to managing value-based care arrangements. The team is responsible for improving the individual health and wellness of program participants; overall health status of a client's population and reduction of utilization and costs. Additionally, it will focus on improving clinical performance and network utilization and cost savings across all network regions by analyzing data, by population in order to identify key areas to drive improvement and to reduce variation in how care is designed, provided and utilized.

     

    It also engages in the development and improvement of the outcomes of quality and utilization measures that are put in place to close care gaps, improve the quality of care, maximize efficient resource utilization, increase profitability and improve the patient experience. The CQI will work with various stakeholders within and without of the organization to make changes to processes and bring these improvements in to place. Works with the Quality and Clinical Integration and Utilization Committees, Markets and other stakeholders to develop an infrastructure around measure management, analysis and reporting as well as quality resource needs.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    + Implements initiatives and decisions from Quality and Clinical Integration committee meetings and other areas.

    + Identifies underperforming areas and facilitates project-driven Performance Improvement corrective actions and sharing of best practices.

    + Develops indicators, collects and analyzes data, performs drill-down analysis, and implements interventions for continuous quality improvement.

    + Works directly with senior leaders to focus on cost initiatives to drive larger margins and greater profitability across all value-based arrangements.

    + Identifies key areas and healthcare trends to drive improvement and reduce variation in care design, provision, and utilization.

    The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree

    + 5 years experience in health care environment

    + 2 years experience in Managed Care

    + 2 years experience prior Management/Supervisor

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Master's degree

    + Lean Trained

    + National Board Certification in Nursing Executive Leadership

    + ACDIS Certification

    + Certified Prof in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)

    + Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (CSSBB)

    + Project Management Professional (PMP)
