    Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting bioreactors and related process equipment in a lab environment. The ideal candidate will support process optimization initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot reactors, mixing tanks, and related process equipment.

    + Perform batch preparation, including media formulation, sterilization, and inoculation procedures.

    + Maintain accurate records of process parameters, deviations, and corrective actions.

    + Assist in scale-up and validation of new processes and equipment.

    + Conduct routine preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs with engineering teams.

    + Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, and safety protocols.

    + Support process optimization initiatives to improve yield, efficiency, and reliability.

    + Collaborate with R&D, QA/QC, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

    + Perform sampling and basic analytical testing, such as pH, conductivity, and turbidity.

    + Participate in clean-in-place (CIP) and sterilize-in-place (SIP) procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong understanding of reactor operations, and tank systems.

    + Familiarity with PLC systems, SCADA, and process control instrumentation.

    + Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, SOPs, and technical documentation.

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.

    + Industry experience in a chemical or bioprocessing environment.

    + Comfortable working in a cleanroom or regulated environment.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
