    Salary: $1218 / Week

     

    + Position: Long-term/Floating Substitute

    + Pay: $30–$40/hour

    + Duration: Remainder of 2025–2026 School Year

    + Location: Beloit, WI

    + Schedule: Full-time; Benefits Eligible

     

    School districts in South Central Wisconsin are hiring long-term substitute teachers to support classrooms across grade levels and subjects. These roles ensure instructional continuity and student success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Deliver lesson plans and maintain classroom routines

    + Support student engagement and learning

    + Collaborate with school staff

    + Ensure a safe, inclusive environment

    + Adapt to various grade levels and subjects

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Teaching or classroom experience

    + Flexibility across elementary and middle school

    + Strong classroom management and communication

    + Familiarity with district curriculum

    + Experience in general education, ELA, STEAM, or Family & Consumer Science

    Licensure Requirements (WI DPI):

    + Five-Year Long-Term Substitute License: Requires completion of an approved educator prep program and eligibility for a WI teaching license. Renewable every 5 years.

    + Short Term Substitute License will suffice for some roles
