    Job Description

    This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in low voltage cable installation. You will be traveling to various industrial, commercial, and some new construction work sites in the Nashville area, under the guidance of an experienced technician. Your primary responsibility will be to inspect cable installations to ensure correctness while learning the trade.

    Responsibilities

    + Travel to various work sites including industrial, commercial, and new construction locations in the greater Nashville area such as Murfreesboro, Franklin, Madison, and Columbia.

    + Follow and assist a technician with laying and installing cables.

    + Inspect installed cables to ensure quality and correctness.

    + Stay open to working overtime, including Saturdays, as needed.

    + Participate in projects such as the Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Nashville, Vanderbilt, and data centers in Franklin and Nashville.

    + Occasionally assist with projects at Nissan in Smyrna.

    Essential Skills

    + Willingness to learn and develop skills in low voltage cable installation.

    + Ability to travel to various sites in the Nashville area.

    + Openness to working overtime and potentially on Saturdays.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No prior experience is required; ideal for someone eager to learn a new trade.

    + Motivated and eager to learn with a professional demeanor in front of clients.

    Work Environment

     

    Work will be conducted at vacant sites including manufacturing facilities, existing commercial buildings, and commercial construction job sites. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 am to 4 pm, with potential for overtime. The company values professionalism and a willingness to learn in all employees.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, Tennessee.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
