Job Title: CNC Operator

Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for running custom milling files for flexible dies according to customer specifications. Your role involves preparing each die and inputting order specifications into the computer to execute program files that mill all lines to cut material effectively and accurately.

Responsibilities

+ Keep work area clean and free of safety hazards.

+ Wear the proper and required safety equipment.

+ Demonstrate dependability and self-motivation.

+ Maintain a strong sense of accountability.

+ Meet deadlines with keen attention to detail.

+ Perform simple addition and subtraction accurately.

+ Competently navigate a computer.

+ Propose improvements to the production process.

+ Adapt to changes in the work environment.

+ Manage competing demands efficiently.

+ Learn to operate additional machines as a secondary role.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience in machine operating.

+ Familiarity with CNC operations.

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Comfortable using computers.

+ Ability to stand or walk for the entire shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in machining and machine operation.

+ Knowledge of lathe and mill operations.

+ Blueprint reading skills.

+ Programming capabilities.

+ Experience in a machine shop environment.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, clean, and organized manufacturing facility. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift from 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2nd shift from 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Enjoy paid lunch and 10-minute breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, Kansas..

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
