    Shop Helper – Sheet Metal Fabrication

    Position Summary

    We’re seeking a motivated Shop Helper to support operations in a modern sheet metal fabrication shop. This hands-on role offers cross-training across departments and exposure to advanced equipment, including Trumpf Punch Press and Sheet Laser. Ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow in the manufacturing industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate Timesaver and deburring equipment

    + Set up and run Trumpf Punch Press and Trumpf Sheet Laser

    + Maintain cleanliness of machines and shop floor

    + Assist various departments as a floater

    Qualifications

    + 6+ months of manufacturing experience

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and reliable work ethic

    + Ability to lift 50–60 lbs consistently

    + Interest in building a long-term career in sheet metal fabrication

    Preferred** **Background

    + shop class experience

    + Familiarity with fabrication tools and processes: hand tools, grinding, assembly, blueprint reading, welding, CNC

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
