What you'll do...

Walmart Healthcare Research Institute (WHRI) helps communities Live Better and Save Money by increasing access to healthcare through research. Join our team and drive Inside Sales and Sales Operations to help revolutionize clinical research growth in a Fortune 1 environment. This role will work on-site in Bentonville, AR and report to the Senior Director of Business Development.

Our team operates at the intersection of healthcare and retail, focusing on developing groundbreaking research operations. By integrating clinical research into Walmart's ecosystem, we aim to enhance healthcare outcomes and support Walmart Health & Wellness strategic direction.

What you'll do:

+ **Inside Sales:** Manage inbound sales requests, qualify early-stage leads and transition to account team, support entire deal cycle for sales at unassigned accounts, work with Account team to strategically respond to RFP/RFIs, proactively research and qualify new leads through strategic outreach.

+ **Sales Operations:** Craft and Steward proposals and contracts through complex deal process, coordinate the updating of GTM material with marketing and communications, assist Sr. Director of BD with CRM reporting.

+ **Conference/Trade Show Support:** travel to conferences and help manage booth with other sales and marketing team, responsibility for tracking new leads and follow up from these shows.

What you'll bring:

+ **Extensive Sales Operations Experience:** Proven ability to craft compelling and client-facing proposals that align with organizational objectives, navigate complex deal processes within large organizations, collaborating across key departments such as legal, marketing, communications, operations, and finance.

+ **Inside Sales Expertise:** Accomplished in handling inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting, qualifying and scoping new opportunities for seamless handoff to the Account team, and effectively managing the entire deal process independently when required.

+ **Marketing:** Development of tailored client, therapy, and solution-focused content with a deep understanding of compliance in highly regulated industries.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or related area and 15 years’ experience in global matrix drug development research and operational strategies.

Prior work experience in project/program management, including risk assessment, timeline and budget management, and contingency planning.

Prior work experience leading cross-functional matrix teams.
