Microbiology Technician 1444044 * Hourly pay: $26/hr * Worksite: Leading consumer products company (Pleasanton, CA 94588 - Onsite) * W2 Employment, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 24 hours/week, 6 Month Assignment A leading consumer products company is seeking a Microbiology Technician/Associate Scientist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the prep, execution, and data analysis of laboratory testing in conjunction with the guidance of Scientists and oversight of the Group Manager. Microbiology Technician Responsibilities: * Execute a variety of simple to complex microbiological laboratory experiments in collaboration with other technicians and scientists to support the business. * Collaborate with scientists to collect, evaluate, and present data to inform teams to enable project decisions. * Manage the microbiology laboratory for this specific project, including laboratory upkeep, maintenance, and ordering equipment and supplies. * Contribute to the operating principles and best practices of this new capability by working safely and with the highest integrity. * Contribute to knowledge management practices with standardization and consistency. * Be a part of a dynamic, collaborative team to build our capabilities for tuberculosis testing for cleaning/disinfecting products Microbiology Technician Qualifications: * Background in biology, biotechnology, or microbiology is preferred. * Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, or biotechnology. * Experience with aseptic techniques and dilution procedures is preferred. Microbiology Technician Shift: * 24 hours per week - Tuesday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5 PM
