• Quality Assurance Analyst

    Description We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data processed through Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines and stored in data warehouses for reporting and analytics purposes. This long-term contract position involves developing and executing test plans, validating data flows, and ensuring that business rules are correctly applied to data transformations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Analyze business requirements, data mapping documents, and models to ensure proper data handling.

    • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity.

    • Test ETL processes, including extraction, transformation, and loading into target tables.

    • Validate the accuracy of fact and dimension tables, including keys, measures, and attributes.

    • Perform data reconciliation between source systems and target warehouses.

    • Ensure data quality by identifying and resolving issues such as null values, duplicates, and invalid entries.

    • Test business intelligence reports and dashboards to confirm alignment with data warehouse tables.

    • Collaborate with developers, database administrators, and analysts to address and resolve defects.

    • Automate regression and sanity testing processes to improve efficiency.

    • Assist QA leads and managers in developing comprehensive test strategies and plans for data projects. Requirements • Proven experience in data validation and quality assurance processes, particularly in ETL and data warehousing.

    • Strong proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries.

    • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and dashboard testing.

    • Knowledge of data modeling and mapping techniques.

    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and reconcile data from multiple sources.

    • Experience in defect tracking and resolution within collaborative teams.

    • Ability to implement automated testing frameworks for regression and data validation.
