MainResponsibilities:
Associate Commercial Project Manager role is ideal for someoneeager to build their commercial project management experience. This is a remotejob opportunity, or it can be based in Wendell, North Carolina.
Associate CPM’s (ACPM) will play a key supporting role for CPM’s
during the early stages of larger projects — including planning, scoping, and
stakeholder coordination — while also independently managing smaller-scale
commercial projects from initiation to close. This is a great opportunity to
grow within a collaborative and fast-paced environment, with mentorship from
experienced project managers.
ACPM
ensures compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project
execution phase. The ACPM supports the respective Commercial Project Manager in
other areas with the objective of executing the project according to the
defined PM@Siemens guidelines/standards, customer requirements and the
applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG).
Responsibilities
AssistCPM’s through PM100 & project closure
+ SupportCommercial Project Managers in the early phases of large-scale projects,including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, Project andSales order creation
+ Supportsthe CPM in coordinating purchasing activity during initial stages ofprojects
+ Ensuresan adequate handover phase, analyzes customers’ requirements, examinestheir commercial and contractual feasibility and transferability, incl.ECC matters
+ Maintainaccurate project documentation during Handover phase such as Customercontracts, cost calculations and vendor Purchase Orders
+ Assistin the preparation, submission, and tracking of bonds (e.g., performancebonds, bid bonds) and ensure compliance with guaranteed contractrequirements
+ Supportcontinuous improvement by identifying process gaps and contributing toproject management best practices
+ Coordinateand execute **project closure activities** , such as compiling finalreports, ensuring all deliverables are accepted, obtaining formal projectsign-offs
ManageProject Finances for Small Projects using POC accounting
+ Ensuresaccuracy of cost and pricing calculation as well as overall project booksand records, incl. recording of such in appropriate systems, e.g. SAP
+ Performsapplicable requirements for month end activities
+ Preparescommercial documentation for regular project status meetings and ensuresthe accuracy of the commercial project data (i.e. FC, cash flow)
+ Ensurescompliance with Siemens FRG and local GAAP requirements
+ Ensuresthe application and the continuously managing of financial Guarantees,Bonds and project securities
+ Supportsthe PM in identifying, minimizing non-conformance costs and establishingan appropriate reporting structure; supports the implementation of lessonslearned into own project and the organization in general
+ Managethe risks, contract and claims by ensuring compliance with LoA guidelinesfor commercial aspects, e.g. risk management process
+ Managethe compliance to standards, rules and regulations of (commercial) projectmembers to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines andestablishes a culture of trust and integrity (e.g. adherence of taxregulations, Signature rights, segregation of duties, ECC, EHS), OR, Legaland Compliance, HR (incl. Delegation process), ECC, Customs, externalauditors, etc.
+ Managesthe customers’ requirements and expectations with the PM.
+ Abilityto interpret and execute contract (customer and supplier) terms andconditions.
You’ll winus over by having the following qualifications:
BasicQualifications:
+ BS/BAin related discipline or advanced degree (Finance, Accounting, SupplyChain Management)
+ SAPexperience and knowledge
+ 10%travel
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Demonstratesand applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization throughsuccessful completion of assignments. Siemens CPM Certification or PMPCertification is a plus
+ Thecandidate should have demonstrated skills to work effectively in ateam-oriented environment.
+ Abilityto multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines is required
+ Demonstratesknowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
+ 2+years of successful experience in related field and successfuldemonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
+ Self-motivatedwith customer orientation and clear growth and entrepreneurial mind-set

The pay range for this position is $60,340 - $103,440. The actualwage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidateexperience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographiclocation.
