    Description

    We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join a respected personal injury law firm in Houston, Texas. The firm is dedicated to representing clients in catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases. With a collaborative and supportive environment, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional client advocacy while maintaining strong ethical standards.

    Responsibilities:

    + Oversee a caseload of 75–80 personal injury cases, focusing on achieving significant settlements and preparing for trial.

    + Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

    + Conduct thorough reviews of medical records and prepare for trials.

    + Represent clients during depositions, mediations, and trials, with a preference for candidates with first-chair trial experience.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and firm leadership to meet case value performance goals exceeding $1 million annually.

    + Utilize FileVine case management software to organize and manage case details effectively.

    + Maintain clear, respectful, and timely communication with clients, ensuring transparency and adherence to the firm's service standards.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably within personal injury law.

    • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.

    • Demonstrated ability to handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting motions, briefing, and discovery.

    • Proven experience with conducting depositions and participating in trials.

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle a high-volume caseload efficiently.

    • Proficiency with FileVine or similar case management software is preferred.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach to legal representation.
