    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The incumbent is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a patient assignment through therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and other health care team members. The incumbent, as a member of the health care team appropriately assists team members in providing holistic care to patients and their support systems with an awareness of cost containment and time management.

    Job Requirements

    Requirements:

    + Two years hospital inpatient Oncology or outpatient Chemotherapy experience required (may consider training if current staff skill set and experience

    + Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required

    Licensure:

    + Current CA RN License

    + BLS and ONS Chemotherapy Certification Required

    + Certification appropriate for the area required

    Education:

    + Associates degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing required

    Preferred:

    + ONS Oncology Certification BSN

    + Bachelors degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing preferred

    Pay Range

    $47.81 - $64.98 /hour
