The **Project Manager II (PM II)** will report to the Senior Director and operate within a dynamic, fun, and highly engaged team culture across departments in the Children's Hospital and Integrated Surgical Institute (ISI). This role supports a multidisciplinary group including pediatric anesthesia, general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedics, and neurosurgery, and will oversee operations for the pediatric OR control desk, the R Building, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) at the main campus. The PM II will work closely with OR and surgical operations teams, ensuring the smooth functioning of daily clinical operations, advancing key initiatives, and managing multiple high-impact projects.
A major focus of this role is data-driven decision-making-the PM II will independently pull, analyze, and present data related to operational metrics, volumes, and financial performance. This is a highly visible role with regular interaction with senior leadership, including Dr. Taylor, Dr. Steele, and Dr. Papas, and requires strong collaboration across a matrixed organization.
Caregivers in this position work** **Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After 90 days, the role may offer a hybrid schedule with 0-2 remote workdays per week, depending on departmental needs and meeting schedules. Please note that remote work is not guaranteed and is subject to change based on operational requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Manage the implementation and maintenance of designated programs.
+ Plan, develop and maintain systems and procedures.
+ Serve as a liaison between department and outside communities.
+ Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
+ Participate in budgetary processes.
+ Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
+ Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and three years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training
+ OR Associate's Degree and five years of experience
+ OR Master's Degree and two years of experience
+ Demonstrated teamwork, leadership, organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Data analysis experience in a healthcare setting
+ Strong Project Management Skills
+ Strong Analytical Skills
+ Presentation skills to include presenting to executive leadership

Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
+ Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
+ Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
+ Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
Personal Protective Equipment:
+ Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $57,510.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $87,697.50

A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education.
