A Day in the life
**** We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Mid-Plex Product Management team at Olink. As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for defining and guiding the development of Olink products, from inception to market release. The mid-plex portfolio encompasses the product line of Target 96, Target 48, Flex, and Focus. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, data science, support, marketing, and sales, along with the Olink product management for reagent kits and instruments to ensure the successful delivery of outstanding products that align with customer needs, achieve business goals, and bolster the company's revenue targets.
Product Management Process Leadership
+ Help the Head of Product Management in establishing standard processes within the product team.
+ Contribute to developing cases, pricing frameworks, and regulated product launch strategies.
Product Strategy & Vision
+ Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and product portfolio.
Market Research & Analysis
+ Conduct detailed market research to identify customer personas, needs, trends, segmentation, and competitive landscape to guide product direction.
Product Roadmap Planning
+ Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the product roadmap, including development timelines and key achievements.
Requirements Gathering & Prioritization
+ Collaborate with internal and external interested parties to gather and define product requirements. Prioritize features based on business impact and strategic value.
Cross-Functional Leadership
+ Partner with R&D, Data Science, Quality, Support, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
Go-to-Market Strategy
+ Define the product’s solution narrative. Lead launch planning, including internal trainings, sales enablement, marketing alignment, and customer support readiness.
Pricing & Commercial Management
+ Develop and implement product pricing strategies. Monitor financial performance and drive margin optimization as needed.
Product Lifecycle Management
+ Post-launch, evaluate product performance and make informed decisions on updates, enhancements, or end-of-life strategies.
Keys to Success
Education
+ Relevant degree in Life Sciences required
+ An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Experience
+ At least 10 years of product management and/or commercial experience
+ Technical background and understanding of product development.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Full professional fluency in English.
+ Strong analytical approach and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Solid ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
+ A proactive and pragmatic solution seeking mentality.
