Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. In this role, you will handle a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with industry standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong accounting skills and experience in financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily posting of financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

• Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve discrepancies.

• Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review and payment preparation.

• Prepare and deliver lender-related documentation and reports in a timely manner.

• Utilize Sage Intacct software to manage and document financial activities. Requirements • Proven experience in corporate tax and sales tax processes.

• Proficiency in preparing and posting journal entries.

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations.

• Hands-on experience with accounts payable processes.

• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software.

• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Effective time management skills with the flexibility to meet deadlines.
