About theRole:
We are seekinga skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Endoscopy team.The ideal candidate will have experience in pre-, intra-, and post-proceduralcare for patients undergoing GI and other endoscopic procedures. This rolerequires strong clinical judgment, patient education skills, and the ability towork collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
KeyResponsibilities:
• Assistwith endoscopic procedures including colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, andothers
• Monitorpatients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring safety and comfort
• Administersedation and medications as directed
• Maintainsterile technique and support physicians during procedures
• Educatepatients and families on procedure preparation and recovery
• Documentcare accurately using EMR systems
Qualifications:
+ Active RNlicense in the state of practice
+ AHA BLS andACLS certifications
+ Minimum 1 yearof recent Endoscopy or procedural nursing experience
+ Experience withEMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred
+ Strong IV andsedation administration skills
+ Must be atleast 18 years of age
+ Compliance withhealth screening and vaccination requirements
