    POSITION SUMMARY

    The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory to ensure that the teams have the materials that they need to complete each job on time. Responsible for safely, accurately and efficiently performing various material movement and inventory related activities such as receiving, putting away, pulling, verifying, identifying, staging, routing and/or delivering to provide internal customers the right materials at the right time.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Moves materials (raw material, work in process, finished goods or kits) between defined locations as needed. Loading/unloading trucks.

    + Prioritizes, pulls and stages, routes, or delivers materials needed by internal customers, verifies and identifies products, quantities and destinations.

    + Puts away materials in correct inventory locations, verifies and identifies products and quantities, and accurately updates system as needed.

    + Maintain parts inventory. Ensure quantities are sufficient and proper parts are available.

    + Manage parts inventory including database reconciliation, ordering, expediting, stocking parts and parts follow up with maintenance technicians.

    + Work with management team to determine discrepancies in inventory.

    + Monitor the usage rates of parts and adjust inventory as needed.

    + Support efficient layout of inventory storage locations.

    + Completes other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + High school diploma or GED preferred

    + Previous forklift experience required (moving up to 30 foot pallets ideally)

    + Previous shipping and receiving/warehouse experience required

    + Computer skills: Adding locations in program for products, checking inventory levels, looking at prints, printing stock labels

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and prioritize and plan work activities, using time efficiently.

    + Must be able to lift 50 pounds
