    Overview

     

    Under general supervision and working closely with check clerk lead. Processes data entry transactions. Scanning checks, filing checks, and mailing checks. Performs other clerical duties as requested

    Responsibilities

    + Performs scanning of return checks

    + Performs filing of return checks

    + Performs data entry processes into a database

    + Performs assigned tasks and projects

    + Verifies and corrects information,

    + Ensure complete and accurate data entries into system

    + Performs other duties as assigned

    + Processes special and recurring reports

    + Mental qualifications include ability to enter data accurately, prepare reports and maintain records

    + Monitors email boxes, inboxes, and other systems to fulfill requested services

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    + Will be required to lift up to 10 lbs.

    + Must be able to use a keyboard and sit for extended periods of time. Mental qualifications include ability to follow directions and communicate appropriately and effectively with staff and customers.

    Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Microsoft Office and Database Systems

    + Knowledge of customer service concepts and practices

    + Knowledge of basic systems as needed

    + Skill in oral and written communication

    + Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications, including database

    + Must be detail oriented and have good organizational skills

    + Ability to efficiently follow-up to find missing information

    + Ability to multi-task. Ability to take and follow direction
