About the Role?
The Account Coordinator plays a vital role in connecting farmers, sales staff, and the agronomy team to ensure accurate records, smooth operations, and exceptional customer service. This position is responsible for timely and precise invoicing of agronomy products and services, monitoring sales contracts and prepay accounts. In addition, the role supports customer interactions, maintains accurate farm and account records, and collaborates with team members to coordinate services and product needs. This is a dynamic position for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting both customers and team success in a fast-paced, ag-focused environment.
What will you do??
+ Support the agronomy team by helping maintain and grow agronomy sales with both existing and prospective customers.
+ Updating and maintaining accurate customer and farm records
+ Monitoring agronomy sales contracts and prepay accounts for accuracy
+ Documenting and maintaining farm splits, field plans, and other key account details
+ Supporting the creation and management of agronomy work orders
+ Understand and accurately document sales interactions in the CRM system.
+ Prepare and verify accurate and timely invoices, ensuring correct pricing and product/service details.
+ Process and enter pre-paid checks into the system; assess feasibility for implementation across all locations.
+ Assist customers with billing/statement inquiries
+ Assist other employees with agronomy billing or inventory inquiries
+ Help manage inventory control of agronomy products and office supplies at the location.
+ Ensure product is moved to/available at the appropriate locations as needed.
+ Manage and fulfill product shipping requests, ensuring accuracy and timely execution
+ Assist Inventory Lead with inventory records ensuring alignment between physical stock and Agvance system.
+ Maintain a strong understanding of Landus credit, sales, and inventory policies related to agronomy.
+ Verify daily sales invoices and contracts for accuracy and proper documentation.
+ Act as a resource for other employees on operational procedures related to agronomy sales, invoicing, CRM use, and general customer service practices.
+ Foster strong working relationships with the sales team, farmers, and Inventory Lead (e.g., chem shed expert) to ensure smooth coordination and communication.
+ Deliver excellent service by promptly assisting farmers or connecting them with the appropriate team members to support their agronomy or grain needs.
+ Ensure that the work area is kept clean and organized.???
+ Work regular office hours as established by the company, unless otherwise approved by the supervisor.
+ Adhere to Landus Cooperative’s safety policies and procedures while serving as a champion for safety compliance across the organization.?
Secondary Duties:
+ Coordinate grain settlement process, including preparing and sending documents for signature.
+ Provide support with scale operations as needed, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
+ Collaborate with the Relationship Specialist to plan and execute community events; take primary responsibility during Harvest season, with the Relationship Specialist leading in the spring.
