    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a caring, reliable, and student-focused School Nurse to join our team! In this role, you’ll take on responsibility and accountability for delivering high-quality nursing care in a school setting, following the nursing process and supporting student health needs in alignment with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s philosophy, standards, and physician orders.

     

    This position includes a 1:1 assignment with a student requiring diabetic care at Washington Middle School. You may also serve in a supervisory capacity depending on the assignment.

     

    ? Key Responsibilities

    + Provide direct student/client care in a school environment

    + Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care

    + Follow physician orders and organizational policies

    + Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers ??

    + Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards

    + Offer health education and support as needed

     
     

    + Graduate of an accredited registered, practical, or vocational nursing program

    + Active nursing license (LPN, LVN, or RN) in the state of practice

    + One year of professional nursing experience (preferred)

    + Current CPR certification ??

    + PPD test or chest X-ray, if applicable

    + Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years old

    + Case Type: 1:1 LPN assignment for diabetic care
