Description

We are looking for a skilled Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Torrance, California. In this role, you will handle critical data entry tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of logistics processes. This is a contract position, ideal for individuals with experience in ocean import logistics and proficiency in Cargowise software.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input data related to ocean import logistics into the Cargowise system.

• Verify and update information to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

• Manage and organize large volumes of numeric and textual data efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline data entry processes.

• Perform regular audits to identify and correct discrepancies in records.

• Generate reports based on entered data to support operational decision-making.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to data entry tasks.

• Ensure compliance with company standards and protocols during data handling.

The salary range for this position is $23/hr to $25/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry, particularly in logistics or ocean import operations.

• Proficiency in using Cargowise software for data management.

• Strong typing skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.

• Familiarity with numeric and textual data entry processes.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication abilities to coordinate with team members.
