Responsibilities
Lead and grow a high performing engineering team by providing technical direction, mentoring, and performance guidance while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. Own the end to end delivery of enterprise scale solutions, from technical design to production rollout, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards. Drive the design and development of scalable and secure applications using modern .NET and Azure cloud technologies. Partner closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, particularly within the Life Insurance domain. Ensure strong engineering practices across coding standards, cloud architecture, DevOps, security, and compliance. Manage delivery timelines, resource planning, dependencies, and risks while continuously improving processes, tools, and engineering efficiency.
Required Skill
+ 10 plus years in software development with at least 3 plus years in an engineering leadership or people management role.
+ Strong hands on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, REST APIs, and microservices based architectures.
+ Proven expertise with Azure cloud services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, and Azure DevOps, including CI CD pipelines.
+ Deep understanding of Life Insurance business processes including policy administration, underwriting, and claims.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex software initiatives while effectively managing teams and stakeholders.
+ Solid experience working in Agile delivery models with a focus on quality, scalability, and reliability.
Desired Skill
+ Exposure to enterprise scale cloud transformations, modernization initiatives, and advanced DevOps practices.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non technical stakeholders.
+ A continuous improvement mindset with experience driving engineering standards and best practices across teams.
