    Exciting Software Engineer Opportunity Supporting Aerospace & Defense Projects!!

    Job Description

    Engage in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for missile trajectory and RF signature prediction simulations, while leading a team of junior engineers. Contribute to C++ development and maintenance, adhering to Scrum methodology.

    Responsibilities

    + Participate in the full SDLC for missile trajectory and RF signature prediction simulations.

    + Lead and mentor junior engineers.

    + Develop and maintain software using C++.

    + Implement and adhere to Scrum methodology.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Simulink and Matlab.

    + Expertise in C++ programming.

    + Experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio and NetBeans.

    + Strong skills in multithreading and multi-threading.

    + Experience with POSIX, OpenMP, MPI, SSE, or GPU programming.

    + Knowledge of version control software such as Git, Subversion, and Mercurial.

    + Familiarity with configuration management tools like Jira and Bugzilla.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Bash.

    + Experience with RF and Radio Frequency technologies.

    + Familiarity with AFSIM and ITASE.

    Work Environment

    The position offers flexible work schedules with options for either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days, located in Columbia, MD. The team-oriented environment emphasizes collaboration and mission-critical defense work.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/hr.
